Who we are
Heartwood began as a typical bookkeeping firm. Data was entered, accounts were reconciled, reports were delivered...and there was much rejoicing. Along the way we gained a better understanding of how our work impacted our clients, their employees, their investors, their other trusted advisors, and their personal lives, and decided to reframe how we thought about our role:
